...on my home set-up. Yamaha drum module just arrived, so I can study at home and experimenting with real sounds - and I have almost finished composing my cover of Trent Reznor "Hurt" (the version sung by Johnny Cash)

...and this is the complete set-up for playing 'fo real

The Hihat is a Roland CY5 on a stand modified with a magnetic switch that act as hh controller (so I can have open, closed, closing and splash sounds using the pedal); the left 12" Ion cymbal is the secondary crash, Roland 12" in the centre is dual zone chockable ride and right 12" is dual zone chockable main crash. Then we have the snare (a 12" Pintech dual zone Concercast), a DIY 10" floor tom, and the two 8" Ion toms. The bass pad is a 8" Ion tom modded with a Roland mesh head and mounted on a DIY support. Lastly, the drum brain is a Yamaha DTXpress III and the monitor is a Tenson bass amplifier that is surprisingly apt to reproduce even high frequencies quite well.
